Damaged Goods
I brought a playstation game from a seller on Trademe, and it arrived but in damaged condition, the CD is ok but the condition of the cover did not come in bubblewrap, its like the seller was happy to get their money chucked it into a courier bag and sent it, so the cover is damaged and it was wet inside the bag, so the intial cover for the game is wet. On trying to gently take it out, it has ripped. What do we do in this case, Im happy to keep the game, as the CD luckily was not damaged, am I able to ask for some money back or not. Seller refunded the cost of the game.

Kia Ora Joanne,
It's Great to hear your Seller has come through for you and refunded the cost of the game. - That's a good Seller you have there - Congratulations😊

Yes well she tried to say that she had bubble wrapped it, but she knew she hadn't otherwise she wouldn't have refunded the money as I also stated to her that another game I had brought and was sent through courier came bubble wrapped and in mint condition big difference to how hers arrived as I sent her picture as well.

Nice Joanne,
Photo evidence is the way to send a negotiation for a partial refund along with your description. I'm sure you've taught your Seller the valuable lesson in correctly packaging items coming forward. It is the Seller's responsibility to ensure goods are adequately packaged for transit, reaching the Buyer in the same condition as advertised in the Listing Description & Photo's. I was rapt to read your later comment regarding the Refund of the game. - Cheers.😊
