Thank you for all your help but there is another matter...
These people who are trading under another persons name and email address... Sometimes this will happen in a small way. Understandably. On behalf. But sometimes a trader who is obviously not doing Anything in a small way is giving someone else's email address and name. I would like to see trademe stamp that out. If people are so dishonest as to hide under another name you have to ask yourself why would they do that. And what might that mean for other traders. Trademe is based on goodwill and trust so there should be transparency. cheers

Kia Ora Siobhan,
Some of the bigger Sellers maybe setup under a Business account & Managers name though the Listings may well be managed by an independent staff member for answering questions, After Sales communication to packaging & shipping - Account & stock control etc. - If you are ever concerned about a Listing &/Or Transaction taking place you can report the Listing(s) to a TradeMe staff Member directly through the "Live Chat" facility for a thorough investigation. - Cheers.

Thanks but this was clearly not a business case. I will wait for this trader to do the right thing. There are after all a number of tools which can be used if she doesn't. Thanks again
(and it is good to raise these matters to be educated) -)

Very often, there is one trademe account in a family. So the other members of the family buy on that account , and then communicate further on their own email . While it can be puzzling and annoying for the seller sometimes, I cannot see anything too wrong in that. In fact TM often clamp down if their is more than one personal account in one house hold as they say it can lead to shill bidding, So this scerario maybe the result of TMs over zealous policy an one personal account in a household

At the end of the day though, the account holder is accountable for anything bought on their account that goes wrong, both in the eyes of the law and TM,

I've had buyers with name trails like this. Does it really matter? As long as you get your goods you purchased or secure payment for the item you are selling someone could call themselves Mickey Mouse for all I care :)
