Item sold but not showing in 'sold items' list | no option to contact buyer for next steps
Your item was sold Wednesday, 17 July 2024 at 2:59 pm - KP-8959
I sold an item (Reference #: KT-10245) but there is no option to contact buyer and proceed to next step. It gives me their details and what it sold for, I have tried emailing them directly.

The 'book a courier' option isn't there anymore either. In fact, when I created my listing earlier, there was no option to calculate the courier cost.

Likewise I won many listings with a reference in format KP-xxxxx but they do not appear in my list of won items
In fact the whole listings disappeared from view and trademe impossible obstructive help contract forms will not let me raise a case about the listing failure to be added to my list of won items. In fact trademe has failed to correctly record the auctions altogether. So I cannot see the details for payment.
Without the listing appearing in won items not only is payment information denied visibility but the ability to manage, provide feedback or make potential reports against the listing are also denied. The useless main help contact forms will not allow entry without a selection from the list of won items, which these items I won do not appear in either, (because that is the issue that is causing payment information failure it does not appear in won items list, and I suspect trademe failed to record it due to the reference number being so different).
My recommendation is to reduce the use of trademe and to use aliexpress, amazon or ebay for new items (ebay and etsy for sales of your items etc) and other peer to peer secondhand traders to sell your used items instead as they could at least show & keep sales records, provide the basic functionality and information on sites.

I have exactly the same issue - I can't leave feedback and the items are only showing up on the mobile site and not on the web. I am concerned I'll lose sight of them completely.

Kia ora everyone, listings that go through our new system can only be viewed in My Trade Me on our app and new-look website.
If you're on our 'classic' site and can't see the listing in your account, you can select the 'Mobile' option at the bottom of the page to get to our new-look site. Alternatively, you can search the listing number and it'll bring up the listing for you.
While we’re upgrading some background systems, some features like Book a courier are unavailable for a small number of listings.
In the meantime, you'll need to manually add your shipping prices when creating a listing. You can still use Book a courier to check prices and when you're ready, you can ship the goods using the ‘Something else I want to send’ option.

I'm afraid it's all pretty painful. More of the same from a once good site.

The mobile site is inaccessible and shows incorrect information and often no critical information and functions at all. E.g. cannot see brought price as the price shown is vastly different to the won prices and do not match the total, cannot see seller details, cannot access payment details, cannot raise disputes, cannot leave feedback, cannot see shipping details, cannot read notes as they are not shown, cannot manage list etc. If you cannot trust the mobile site to show how much the auction was won for then how on earth is it an "improvement". If you cannot access core functions and information on the new site vs the old then how is it better?

There's an issue with the new update:

The old site should still be available until all these "bugs" are sorted out. With how the site currently is a competitor could very easily make a play and decimate Trademe's market share of sales. This is really not acceptable for anything but a beta test and should have been done alongside the original functional format until it was actually better than the original.
