Set default region to local

Something that frustrates me every time when using Trademe is when I search it will show me everywhere, from offshore to Aukland to Invercargill. No matter what I want. Which is OK when i want something that can be posted but for furniture, or whiteware where i just want wellington i have to go into each search result and specify, region, wellington.

Can there not be a preference set for searches so i can specify just give me local results, or I can set the region for any future searches, then opt out if its a memory card im after that can be posted ?

Best way to do it is set your search preference, then book mark your page,

then just use your book mark to open up with your preferences you have already set,

Mind you it is easy on Desk Top, but no idea for apps?, as I do not use them,
