Delivereasy giveaway terms and conditions

Acceptance of these terms & conditions: The Trade Me Property and Delivereasy Limited (Delivereasy) giveaway (Giveaway) is run by Trade Me Limited (Trade Me). By entering into the Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not enter the Giveaway and you are not eligible to redeem the Prize. Trade Me reserves the right to vary, suspend or terminate these terms and conditions, the Giveaway or any Prize at any time, without notice to you.

1. Eligibility: Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who (i) are 18 years and over, and (ii) have an active Trade Me membership. Directors and staff of Trade Me, its related bodies corporate and any agencies or companies associated with Trade Me or the Giveaway are not eligible to enter.
   
   
2. Giveaway period: The Giveaway period begins at 12.00am (NZST) on the first day of each month (from Wednesday 1 May 2024) and closes at 11.59pm (NZST) on the last day of each month (until Thursday 31 October 2024) (each calendar month from May to October 2024 (inclusive) a Promotion Period).
   
   
3. How to enter: If you add at least one rental property on Trade Me Property to your Watchlist during a Promotion Period, you will be entered into the draw for that Promotion Period. You may only enter once in each Promotion Period (regardless of how many rental properties you add to your watchlist during that Promotion Period). If you win a Prize, you will not be eligible to win a Prize for any subsequent Promotion Period.
   
   
4. Emails and electronic communications: By entering the Giveaway you agree and consent to us sending you electronic messages, including emails, related to the Giveaway. For example, we may send you an email to confirm you have successfully entered the Giveaway. Emails will have an ‘unsubscribe’ option where required by the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.
   
   
5. Prize and winner selection: Trade Me will select one winner for each Promotion Period at random during the first week of the month following that Promotion Period. The winner will be the first eligible and valid entry randomly selected from all eligible entries for the relevant Promotion Period provided the relevant entrant has not won a Prize for any preceding Promotion Period (each a Winner). There is one prize of a NZD$2,600 gift voucher for Delivereasy (each a Prize) per Promotion Period. The Prize is not exchangeable and  is not redeemable for cash.  The Prize will be sent to each Winner via email using the email address registered to the relevant Winner’s active Trade Me membership.  Receipt and use of a Prize by a Winner is subject to Delivereasy’s terms and conditions (available at Delivereasy) and each Winner accepts their Prize subject to such terms and conditions. Trade Me is not involved in the redemption or use of a Prize or the provision of any goods or services by Delivereasy.  
   
   
6. Winner notification and announcement: Each Winner will be notified by Trade Me by email using the contact details registered with that Winner’s active Trade Me membership. Trade Me reserves the right to select another winner if a Winner does not respond within 72 hours of notification. Trade Me’s decision regarding Winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
   
   
7. Publicity: Entrants agree that if they are a Winner their name, location (i.e. the town or city they live in) and a description of their Prize (if applicable) may be published on Trade Me’s social media, within email marketing or on Trade Me’s websites. The Winners will not be entitled to any fee or compensation in connection with such publicity.
   
   
8. Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, each of Trade Me and Delivereasy shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered by any entrant, Winner or other person  resulting from, arising from or in anyway connected to the Giveaway or receipt or use of a Prize (including but not limited to any direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or incidental loss or damages). Trade Me and/or Delivereasy’s liability to any entrant or Winner or other person will be limited in any circumstances to a maximum for all claims up to the value of the Prize.
   
   
9. Circumstances outside our control: Where a Prize is being supplied by a third party, Trade Me accepts no responsibility in connection with the provision of the Prize, including without limitation, issues with the receipt, redemption or use of a Prize (including where the Winner lives outside of Delivereasy’s delivery areas) or any failure or delay in the provision of goods or services upon redemption of a Prize or otherwise in respect of those goods or services.  
   
   
10. Other terms: The Trade Me terms and conditions (as amended from time to time) apply with all necessary modifications to the Giveaway and (if relevant) the use of any Prize.
    
    
11. Privacy Act: Trade Me will collect and hold personal information such as name and email address in order to notify you if you win, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Each Winner consents to Trade Me providing their name to Delivereasy for the purpose of allocation of the Prize. Delivereasy’s privacy policy will apply to any interaction with Delivereasy and any personal information disclosed to, collected and  used by Delivereasy.
