If you’ve given something to one of our charity partners through the Kindness Store, you may be able to claim a tax credit on some of the purchases.
There are a number of ways to give via the Kindness Store so we’ve broken down the process for claiming by the different listings types.
This only applies to the following listings:
- Women’s Refuge – Safe Night
- Age Concern – Electronic devices
You may be able to claim tax credits for cash donations or cash donations for items (i.e. if you’ve paid money towards an item such as a device, which the charity will buy themselves).
This means the charity may be able to give you a donation receipt. You must provide your purchase confirmation to the charity and they will assess whether or not they can issue you with a receipt.
To arrange this please contact the charity you’ve donated to:
Items and vouchers
This applies to all other items in the Kindness Store.
Buyers won’t be able to claim a tax credit against these purchases. If you would like a GST receipt for any reason, please get in touch.
