  • Your GST invoice can be downloaded online – see Account Statement.
  • Receipts are available instantly, once the listing has been started.


Can't find your receipt?

You may have topped up your Trade Me account without starting your listing. Check your Selling page to check whether the listing is live.


All other account charges

Success fees, listing fees, promotional extras, Book a Courier charges.

  • Your GST invoice can be downloaded online – see Account Statement.
  • Receipts are available on the first day of each calendar month – showing the previous month's charges.

Purchases from NZ sellers

Trade Me doesn't collect the GST for local purchases, so we're not able to provide receipts.

  • Contact the seller to request a receipt.
  • Bear in mind that not all in-trade sellers are GST-registered.

Purchases from international sellers

NZ GST is collected for all Trade Me purchases from any international seller to a New Zealand buyer – as required by NZ law.

To get your GST receipt:

  1. Go to your Won items, from My Trade Me.
  2. Select the listing.
  3. Select Paid by Ping or Paid by Afterpay.
  4. Select (includes $X.XX GST).

You’ll also find a link to your GST receipt in your sale confirmation email.

Buyers are still responsible for any tariff duties, import entry transaction fees and biosecurity system entry levies that Customs charge.
