Placing feedback as a seller

If you're having trouble contacting the buyer – we can help.

Let the rest of the trading community know how the trade went, by placing feedback on the buyer.

Most trades should be wrapped up within a week. We expect buyers to:

  • Respond to emails promptly.
  • Make payment as soon as possible.
  • Supply the seller with a delivery address, or arrange pick-up, as soon as possible.

 

Only place feedback once payment is received and the buyer has received the item. You can place feedback up to 45 days after the auction has closed.

  1. Go to 'Sold items' through 'My Trade Me'.
  2. Select the listing.
  3. Select 'Place feedback'.
  4. Choose positive (), neutral (), or negative (), enter a comment, and select 'Submit feedback'.

  2. Under ‘Selling’, select ‘Sold’ tag-tick.
  3. Select the listing.
  4. Select ‘Place feedback’ and follow the prompts.

Editing or deleting feedback

Feedback can only be edited once – and can’t be restored if it’s edited or deleted.

  1. Head to 'My Trade Me' and select 'Sold'.
  2. To the right of the sold item, select 'Feedback placed'.
  3. Find your feedback on the buyer's feedback page and select 'Edit this feedback' or 'Delete this feedback'.
  4. Confirm your changes.

To edit or delete feedback, head to our desktop site.

  3. Select the listing.
  4. Select ‘Feedback placed’ and select 'Edit'.
  5. Make your changes and select 'Update feedback'.
