Update your account details

You can update your contact and address details, email address, member profile, and password.

To do this you’ll need to be logged in. If having trouble logging in, check out our Help page.

Update your email address

  1. Head to ‘My Trade Me’.
  2. From the right hand panel, select ‘change my email’.
  3. Follow the prompts and select ‘Update Email Address’.

  3. Select ‘change your email address’.
  4. Follow the prompts and select ‘Update Email Address’.

  3. From ‘Account’, select ‘My details’ edit.
  4. From ‘Account Details’, select ‘Email’.
  5. Follow the prompts and select ‘Update email address’.

  3. From ‘Account’, select ‘My details’ edit.
  4. From ‘Account Details’, select ‘Email’.
  5. Follow the prompts and select ‘Update email address’.

Update your password 

  1. Head to ‘My Trade Me’.
  2. From the right hand panel, select ‘change my password’.
  3. Follow the prompts and select ‘Change Password’.

Update your contact details 

  1. Head to ‘My Trade Me’.
  2. From the right hand panel, select ‘change my contact details’.
  3. Follow the prompts and select ‘Update’.

  3. Select ‘Update your profile details’.
  4. Follow the prompts and select ‘Update’.

  3. From ‘Account’, select ‘My details’ edit.
  4. Select the options you’d like to update.

Update your address 

  1. Head to ‘My Trade Me’.

  4. Follow the prompts and select ‘Update’.

  4. Select the options you’d like to update.

Update your member profile 

  1. Head to ‘My Trade Me’.
  2. From ‘More options’, select ‘My profile’.
  3. Enter your profile details, these will automatically save.

Update your username

Generally, we won’t change a username. However, if you’re a new member and have used your full name, it’s possible we may be able to change it.
